Mountains over murals this year.
Every year, the YiC crew tries to link up somewhere in the world to paint a mural together. But this time, we decided to switch it up.
Instead of chasing wall space or rushing to finish a piece, we headed into the Austrian Alps—just four friends, some tents, and a shared love for art and nature.
Lazy Arts, Tee2Sugars, Smoe Nova, and myself made the trip. Sadly, Doke couldn’t join this time—he just became a dad (huge congrats!), and stayed home to be with his young family.
We're hoping to bring everyone, including the U.S. guys along for the ride next year.
There was no tight schedule, no mural deadline, no pressure. Just hiking, camping, deep conversations, and letting the mountains reset our heads.
Of course, I brought the camera.
I filmed the whole experience and turned it into a long-form video so you can come along for the journey. Check it out on my YouTube channel—this one's all about slowing down and remembering why we make art in the first place.
